“Heather Armstrong’s bright, hand-knitted tea cosies are not only designed for function – but also to make you smile – and that’s a great way to start, or end, the day. It’s not just the knitting that Heather enjoys, however, it’s also finding odd and interesting teapots from op shops on which she places the cosies and sells them as a package. Then there is the wool – there is never enough of it in the right colour – so it is back to the op shop or some online searching! The cosies take days and often weeks to complete and with the pot included they range from between $25 and $65.”
